When Should I Be Baptized?

​Since baptism is a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ, it should be performed after one understands the Gospel, experiences God’s grace, and responds to it through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism performed prior to these three things is representative if something other than new life in Christ and falls short of what Jesus calls us to do.

"…then immediately he and his family were baptized… he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God." Acts 16:33-34
