Pastor Christopher Welch
Pastor Christopher D. Welch began proclaiming the gospel at an early age in April 1982 and was licensed under the late G. T. Hutchinson, Pastor of the Starlight Missionary Baptist Church. On January 22, 2005 he was led by the Holy Spirit to organize the New Direction Christian Community Church, where he currently serves as Pastor-Teacher.
Pastor Chris is a motivating and dynamic teacher. He teaches the bible in a practical and engaging manner as he ministers. With engagement and interaction he inspires others to live holy, give God their best and to walk in integrity and with the spirit of excellence.
Pastor Chris and the New Direction family are committed to meeting the needs of the community and providing ministry services that teach, preach, reach and help others.
Pastor Chris received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Prairie View A&M University. He is a leader with over 20 years of administrative and professional business experience.
